Peter Y. ChangAssociate Attorney

Peter is an experienced lawyer with a focus on family law, business law, real estate, bankruptcy, constitutional law, and related matters. Mr. Chang has been admitted to practice in California for the last three decades and has appeared in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura, and San Diego Counties. He is also admitted to the federal bar. He has engaged in trial and appellate practice in Southern California. Mr. Chang has expertise in discovery methods and deposition practice.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Chang was employed with various firms in Southern California, including one of the most well-regarded law firms in the Inland Empire, and was a member of the faculty of the business law faculty at Los Angeles Pierce College, where he enjoyed teaching students of all backgrounds and encouraging their professional and personal growth.

Mr. Chang is an alumnus of the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received the Dean’s Honor List multiple times and was graduated magna cum laude; and the University of Michigan Law School, where he was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in American Legal History. He has been Judicial Clerk for the Hon. Thomas S. Cleveland, Chief Judge of the Fifty-Sixth Circuit of Michigan and Member of the Michigan Judicial Institute. He also clerked for a University of Michigan adjunct faculty member in private practice while attending law school. Mr. Chang brings with him an interest in alternative dispute resolution methods arising from his role as law clerk with the American Bar Association in Washington, D.C.
