Juan Carlos Moran

Juan Carlos Moran is a Senior Attorney at Berenji Divorce & Family Law Group with more than a decade of experience as a family law attorney, including extensive experience representing clients in high-conflict, complex, and high-net-worth divorce and family law matters. He has handled cases involving significant assets and property disputes, contentious custody and move-away issues, child and spousal support, domestic violence restraining orders, parentage, and post-judgment proceedings.

A seasoned litigator, Mr. Moran has developed strategy and managed cases through every stage of litigation, including complex discovery, contested motions, evidentiary hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations. Before joining Berenji Divorce & Family Law Group, Mr. Moran practiced with several prominent Southern California family law firms, where he represented clients in complex and contested family law proceedings. His substantial courtroom experience and background handling high-conflict matters allow him to assess cases strategically while remaining focused on the practical and financial considerations that can shape the outcome of a family law dispute.

Earlier in his legal career, Mr. Moran was selected as a San Fernando Valley Bar Association Family Law Public Interest Fellow and received the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services. He has also taught at the People’s College of Law and provided legal services through public-interest organizations serving individuals and families throughout Southern California.
